Turmeric and Ginger Face Mask

on

Today’s post is a recipe for your face. This wonderful, deeply moisturising face mask is easy to make and has great results.

It combines two potent anti inflammatory herbs, turmeric and ginger, with nourishing olive and coconut oil. I then mixed in a tea spoon of milled linseeds (with goji berries, an antioxidant rich fruit, pumpkin seeds and chia seeds). I also added honey, but if you are vegan you may wish to omit this or swap with agave or maple syrup.

The paste will look like below – a vivacious bright orange (be
careful, as it will stain white and pale towels, shirts etc.).

When you put the paste on your face, you will look like an oompa loompa (as evidenced by pic). But it will be worth it, promise! I left the mask on for around 20 mins and hoped no one rang the doorbell!

Afterwards, I washed and cleansed my face with a warm cup of green tea. I then massaged in my moisturising cream and took the below pic:

My skin felt so soft and looked so shiny. I will definitely be using this recipe again! If you are brave enough to try, you are in for a fantastic, nutritious experience that will really nourish your skin with natural. goodness.
